ANAYA Collection for Valentine's Day
We know, February already and yet another excuse to get the one you love to spend his hard earned cash on yours truly. February is the month for love and at United Designers we like to celebrate this special emotion by bringing you some exclusive Valentine’s fashion from the UAE’s hottest design talent, that you just can’t live without. No really, it’s our pleasure.
The colour red is so hot right now and we are head over heels in love with the fabulous confections that have come from some of our most coveted design talent, especially for you this Valentine’s Day. Grazia’s “One to watch” Anaya has come up trumps with an adorable red sequin bodysuit guaranteed to score you highly on that hot date. Her velvet maxi-skirt is luxury personified and tactile to boot! ANAYA collection is known for its attention-grabbing colour palette and the red sequin maxi dress with pleated chiffon is worthy of a paparazzi flash or two – just see Reese Witherspoon’s recent showstopper at last month’s Golden Globes to know what we mean.
A. Nuaimi Amita Bag in black lace
As with any outfit looking to get some attention, a bag is what will finish a look. A . Nuaimi has designed an exclusive valentine’s inspired clutch bag for United Designers in her signature shape, finished in black lace with cute little pink heart accessories. Neutral enough to go with nearly anything, but pretty enough to ensure the compliments don’t stop flowing.

Accessories are the fun part of any outfit and we just love to accent our outfits with fashion-forward style choices from our heads to our hands. Meher & Riddhima have designed a pitch-perfect and cute-as-a-button headband in the shape of a flower, perfect for valentines. They’ve also got our décolletage covered with an exquisite red woven necklace embellished with shimmering stones and a ribbon tie. Love, love, love!
Rouge Couture are getting all gooey on us with a dedicated Abaya collection for Valentines. Red ruffles tumble from a neckline, glamorous red sequins adorn and drape down one-side of a limited edition abaya and rouge flowers drip down the front of another. You’ll have to take our word or visit the store to see them.
Finally, we think that nothing says “I love you” more than gold jewellery. ARAS has created a trio of jewellery pieces inspired by the UAE desert in the wintertime.
